皆さんこんにちは。  

私が母国イギリス・スコットランドから初めて日本へ来たのは1995年。

上越市高田カトリック教会で、ボランティア活動と英語講師として過ごしたことが始まりでした。

その後、日本、そして新潟の人々や文化に深く魅了され、2006年には教会の英語教室を引き継ぐ形で、現在の高田イングリッシュスクールを設立しました。

子どもから大人まで、英語コミュニケーションの重要性は年々高まっています。

グローバルな社会の中で、自分の言葉で思いを伝える力は、年齢を問わず大きな財産になります。

私はこれまで 30年以上、英語教育に携わってきました。  

その経験を活かし、皆さま一人ひとりの学びを丁寧にサポートするとともに、

「英語で伝わる楽しさ」 を感じていただけるレッスンを提供していきたいと思っています。

これからも、地域の皆さまに寄り添いながら、温かく、安心して通える英会話スクールを目指してまいります。

Hello everyone,

I first came to Japan from my home country of Scotland in 1995, serving as a volunteer and English instructor at Takada Catholic Church here in Joetsu. From the very beginning, I was deeply drawn to the people, culture, and the warm community of Niigata. In 2006, I established Takada English School, taking over the English classes that had been offered through the church.

Today, the need for strong English communication skills continues to grow for children and adults alike. In our increasingly global society, being able to express yourself confidently in English is a valuable asset at any age.

With over 30 years of experience in English education, my goal is to support each learner with care and dedication, and to share the joy of communicating in English. I hope our lessons help you discover not only the usefulness of English, but also the fun and excitement of connecting with others through language.

We will continue to provide a warm, welcoming environment where everyone in the community can learn comfortably and confidently.
